MMS Support for MMS messages. MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) is a short multimedia messaging service based, unlike SMS, on GPRS technology. The service allows you to receive / transmit full-color pictures, photos, melodies and even videos. Unlike EMS messages, which are text messages with graphic images and melodies attached to them, MMS technology provides the ability to insert graphics and melodies directly into the message text - the recipient of an MMS message can simultaneously view a picture and listen to music (in EMS text, sound and graphics cannot be used at the same time). If you send an MMS message to the device without MMS support, the recipient will receive it in a slightly different form: on the phone equipped with a WAP browser, a WAP link with the address where the MMS message is stored will come; if the phone is not equipped with a WAP browser, its owner will receive an SMS message with a URL address, and the received message can be read on a computer using an Internet browser. Almost all modern phones with color screen and GPRS support have MMS function. To send / receive MMS messages, it is necessary that MMS is supported not only by the phone itself, but also by the mobile operator.
